CampLight |

Brilliant and Bright |
CampLight provides a wide angle (120deg), high light output (40+ lumens), low power solution (1.8W, 150mA at 12V) and includes unrivalled functionality:
Day/night sensing An onboard day/night sensor allows you to set it up and then forget about it. Once it gets dark it will turn on by itself.
Power saving After turning on once it gets dark it will only remain on for only 6 hours – the usable part of your night – and in doing so extend the time between battery charges. It will reset itself once it senses light or day light.
Battery protection If the battery does become depleted CampLight will automatically go into low power mode at 11V and turn off at 10.5V – this will prevent your expensive 12V battery from permanent damage due to discharging. CampLight will turn on again as soon as it senses high enough supply voltage. If the battery voltage becomes to high (15V or more) it will turn off to protect the circuit. |
Two modes of operation The battery protection applies to both the Day/night mode and Normal mode. In Normal mode CampLight acts much like an ordinary flashlight. By pressing the button it will switch from on to dim to off for each press of the button and the cycle then repeats. To switch between Day/night and Normal mode press and hold the button for more than 3 seconds – the LED’s will flash once to indicate Normal mode and twice for Day/night mode.
Comfort colour LED’s In the event of using CampLight to do a bit of night reading be assured it will help ease tension and strain your eye may endure due to incorrect colour balance. Most lighting solutions provide manly white light in contras to natural daylight. To compensate for this CampLight mixes in some yellow light to provide a more balanced, natural solution. Try it yourself and feel the difference.
MCU controlled At the hart of this unit lays a Micro Controller Unit. It takes care of all those technical bits like battery protection, daylight monitoring, over voltage protection, constant light output regulation and timing operations. |

CampLight mounted on a tent poll and then turned on. |
Constant light output The MCU regulates the supply voltage to give constant light output. Basically this means that whether the battery voltage is at 11V or 15V you will always enjoy the same amount of light output – no dimming as the batteries goes down.
The design CampLight is housed in an extra durable Perspex tube to protect it against life’s little bumps. The power cord plugs into the bottom so in the event of damaging the cord there is no need to replace the entire light, just unplug the cord and have it fixed or replaced. The removable cord comes in handy if CampLight is to be permanently fixed to your tent polls for instants. This way you just unplug the wires and you are ready to go. |
